Tickets sold out almost immediately for the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door PPV at the United Center in Chicago on June 26.
WrestleTix estimates a setup of around 14,000 seats for the show. About 11,200 tickets were put on pre-sale yesterday and sold out almost instantly. More seats were being put on sale gradually for the pre-sale and when all was said and done, all 11,000+ pre-sale tickets were gone in about 40 minutes.
The remaining tickets were put on sale today and were also gone virtually instantly, though there are already 2,500+ resale (scalper) tickets on the market at the time of this post.
Instant presale sell out for the AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door show at the United Center. Less than 40 minutes (mostly because AEW didn’t release every ticket initially) and well over 20,000 people in the queue.
