CM Punk underwent successful surgery on his “lower leg” earlier today, Jim Ross announced on commentary during tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
“The surgery on CM Punk’s lower leg has been successfully completed,” Ross said. “The doctors are very happy with the outcome of it. This just happened today, so we’ll know more about that as times goes on this week. But it’s good news.”
There’s no word on how long he may be out or what exactly the injury is. It’s been rumored to be a broken foot, but that’s not confirmed.
