Johnny Gargano Makes Surprise WWE Return at Monday’s RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show in Toronto, Canada featured the surprise WWE return of Johnny Gargano.

Following his return, Gargano gave a speech to the crowd discussing his departure from WWE and time away from wrestling due to the birth of his son earlier this year. Gargano stated that one day while playing with his son, he remembered about the dream career goals he had during his time in WWE, which included becoming a WWE Champion and main eventing WrestleMania one day. Gargano also stated that this moment helped motivate him on wanting to return to WWE and act as a life lesson to his son about how your biggest dreams can come true.

Before Gargano could finish, Theory interrupted his speech and reflected about their past time together in NXT while also mocking Gargano over how he has achieved more during his time in WWE than Gargano has. Theory also wanted him and Gargano to hive five each other like in the old days in NXT, which resulted in Gargano acting as if he wanted to do so but instead fooled Theory and superkicked him instead to end the segment.

Prior to his return, Gargano had previously worked in WWE from 2015 to 2021 primarily for WWE’s NXT brand.
