WWE reportedly is currently planning for Roman Reigns to face off against Logan Paul for the main event of their next event in Saudi Arabia this November, according to the Wrestling Observer.
Dave Meltzer reported that WWE is currently planning to hold a press conference on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada to officially announce this match for their upcoming Crown Jewel 2022 event in Saudi Arabia on November 5th.
Meltzer also reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources had mentioned that WWE officials were considering plans for this potential match to take place at a future pay-per-view event and likely in Saudi Arabia due to neither Reigns nor Paul were scheduled for next month’s Extreme Rules 2022 event. Meltzer speculated that this was very likely the reason why WWE decided against the idea of Drew McIntyre defeating Reigns at their Clash at the Castle event earlier this month in Cardiff, Wales.
This announcement was initially teased by Paul on Twitter earlier today, who stated that there will be a “massive announcement” taking place during tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown show in Anaheim, California.
