Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara were involved in a physical “backstage altercation” before Dynamite and Andrade was sent home, TMZ is reporting.
The report says that “words were exchanged, and then things turned physical.” Guevara allegedly shoved Andrade, then punches were thrown, but it’s not known if any actually connected.
TMZ’s sources were “adamant” that this was not part of any worked storyline.
Andrade has been sent home. Guevara appeared in a backstage segment on Dynamite and is scheduled to wrestle on the show, so he apparently is still there.
Tony Khan tweeted that the Andrade vs. 10 “career vs. mask” match that was scheduled for Friday’s Rampage is now off.
Friday’s bout @Pres10Vance vs @AndradeElIdolo is off.
We’ll still celebrate the anniversary of @ThisBrodieLee‘s final match at #AEWRampage as 10 will get the shot he missed at All Out:World Trios Championship

Andrade and Guevara had a Twitter spat yesterday, which started when Andrade said in a recent interview that Guevara complained “like a little girl” that Andrade “hit him too hard” during a match between them.
The Twitter back-and-forth ended with Andrade telling Guevara that he’ll see him on Wednesday. For some reason, they were not kept apart backstage.
Ok I’m a liar 😂 see you on Wednesday!!
I’ll tell you to your face again!!! and nothing you say that you do not have any problem!
