AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Twitter this afternoon that AEW recently signed former WWE backstage interviewer and announcer Renee Paquette to an official contract with the company.

Prior to the announcement, Paquette had tweeted earlier in the day about currently being in Toronto, which is the host city for tonight’s AEW Dynamite show and Rampage tapings.

Paquette also commented on her recent signing to AEW afterwards.

Prior to her signing, WWE had been interested in bringing back Paquette to the company as part of the changes under their new leadership regime but WWE officials believed she was likely heading to AEW soon.
Paquette is the wife of current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.
