Simone Johnson, The Rock’s Daughter, Debuts on NXT

Simone Johnson, daughter of The Rock, made her official NXT TV debut today, joining The Schism stable.

She’s using the name Ava Raine.

She had been seen with The Schism in recent weeks wearing a hood and finally revealed herself on tonight’s NXT episode. During an in-ring segment with The Schism, Joe Gacy asked her to remove her mask and she did, introducing herself as “Ava Raine.”

She cut a short promo, saying, “The love and acceptance The Schism has given me defies any preconceived notions of who I’m supposed to be. This family completes me.”

Johnson signed with WWE in early 2020. In September 2020, she underwent knee surgery for the third time.
