At least five wrestlers have been released from NXT, according to PWInsider. Their report says that “NXT releases are currently underway,” so it’s possible that there may be more coming.
The following five wrestlers have been released:
- Bodhi Hayward – Hayward was part of the Chase University stable. He made his WWE in-ring debut in January of this year.
- Sloane Jacobs – She made her WWE in-ring debut in March of this year. She previously wrestled on the indies as Notorious Mimi, and wrestled in a handful of AEW Dark matches last year before signing with NXT.
- Erica Yan – Originally from China, she made her WWE debut in November 2021.
- Ru Feng – Also originally from China, he debuted for NXT in October 2021.
- Damaris Griffin – Debuted for NXT in April.
