New Japan Pro Wrestling talent Jay White reportedly is currently expected to leave the company once his current contract expires, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that White’s contract is currently set to expire “relatively soon.”
Those spoken to reportedly stated that both WWE and AEW are currently interested in potentially signing White to their respective company. Those spoken to within WWE reportedly “seemed confident that they would land him” but could not guarantee it due to no company can officially contact White for contract talks until his current NJPW contract expires.
It was reported that the current feeling within NJPW’s locker room is that White wants to be and work in the United States for the time being.
White has been working for NJPW since 2015 and is currently booked in a “Loser Leaves Japan” match against Hikuleo that will take place at NJPW’s New Beginning in Osaka 2023 event on February 11th in Osaka, Japan.
