WWE reportedly is currently working on plans for the production of movie parody videos for WrestleMania 39, according to WrestleVotes.
WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that WWE officials are currently working on plans for the filming of parody videos based on several notable films as part of their advertising campaign for this year’s WrestleMania event.
It was reported that five videos are currently being planned to be produced, which were stated to be:
- The Bloodline – Goodfellas
- Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins – Batman & The Joker
- Rhea Ripley & The Judgment Day – Stranger Things
- The Brawling Brutes & Drew McIntyre – The 40-Year-Old Virgin
- Miz & Maryse – Top Gun
WWE filmed similar movie parody videos in 2005 as part of their advertisement for WrestleMania 21 in Los Angeles.
I’m hearing WWE has begun filming brand new “movie parody” promos similar to those from WrestleMania 21. Miz, McIntyre, Sheamus, Brutes & Street Profits all expected to be included in the promotion for “WrestleMania Goes Hollywood.”
