The Associated Press held a recent interview with WWE Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales and Partnerships Craig Stimmel.
One of the topics discussed included Stimmel revealing that WrestleMania 39 event is currently set to generate $20 million in revenue from sponsorships. Stimmel stated that this will break the all-time WWE record for most sponsorship money ever generated for a WrestleMania event.
Stimmel also stated that WWE will be incorporating corporate brands into this year’s WrestleMania 39 event in multiple ways, including a match sponsorship.
Stimmel also stated that this year’s event will also be featuring a “blurring of the fourth wall” in regards to what home viewers will see compared to what the live audience will see and an augmented reality experience.
