Three New Matches Added to WrestleMania 39
Monday’s WWE RAW show in Boston, Massachusetts featured three new matches officially added to the card of next month’s WrestleMania 39 event.
The first new match announced was a singles match of Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul. This match was setup during the Miz TV segment on the show that featured Rollins, Paul, and The Miz. Following a heated exchange of words between Rollins and Paul, The Miz claimed as the host of this year’s WrestleMania 39 event that he had the power to make matches for the show. This was later made official by WWE for the event.
The second new match announced was a Six-Women Tag Team match of Becky Lynch, Lita, & Trish Stratus vs. Damage CTRL. This match was made official during a promo segment involving Lynch, Lita, and Stratus that was interrupted by Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and Bayley and ended in a brawl between the two teams.

The third and final new match announced was a United States Championship match of John Cena vs. Austin Theory (c). This match was made official during a promo segment involving Cena that was quickly interrupted by Theory. This led to a very heated exchange of words that first involved Cena rejecting Theory challenge since he felt nobody cared about Theory and claimed Theory lacked in belief of himself to challenge someone of his stature. Following several insults retorts by Theory, Cena stated that the reason he initially rejected the challenge was due to wanting to protect Theory and his young star status and claimed Theory would lose everything if they fought at WrestleMania. Cena stated that because Theory invoked the fans, he asked the fans if they wanted to see the match, which they cheered loudly over the idea. Cena then accepted Theory’s challenge for the match.
