Impact Wrestling held the first night of a new set of of Impact! television tapings on Friday at the Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois. This new set of tapings focused on build for next month’s Under Siege 2023 event.
In regards to new debuts, Trinity Fatu, former Naomi in WWE, made her official debut for Impact at the tapings. Fatu gave an in-ring promo to the crowd which led to current Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo coming out and teasing a potential future title match between the two.

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Mercedes Mone, former Sasha Banks in WWE, was seen backstage prior to the start of Impact’s tapings and was seated hidden in the crowd throughout the tapings. The reason for Mone’s appearance reportedly was due to her showing support for Fatu’s official debut in Impact and first wrestling appearance since her departure from WWE. Mone confirmed on Twitter that she was in attendance at Impact’s tapings.

- Trinity (former Naomi) made her official Impact debut for an in-ring promo segment. During her promo, Trinity stated that she is coming for the Knockouts World Championship leading to current champion Deonna Purrazzo coming out in response. Jordynne Grace came out afterwards and reminded Purrazzo that she is next in line for her title.
- The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) defeated Kenny King & Eddie Edwards
- The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch) defeated Decay (Black Taurus & Crazzy Steve)
- Masha Slamovich defeated Killer Kelly
- Dirty Dango defeated Johnny Swinger
- Rich Swann defeated Angels. Swann had Sami Callihan in his corner while Angels had The Design in his corner. Following the match, Swann and Callihan got into a brawl with The Design.
- Nick Aldis defeated Sheldon Jean
- The Coven (KiLynn King & Taylor Wilde) defeated Deonna Purrazzo & Jordynne Grace. Following the match, The Coven launched a post-match attack leading to Trinity coming out to save Purrazzo and Grace.
