Impact Wrestling held their second night of a new set of of Impact! television tapings on Saturday at the Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois. This new set of tapings focused on build for next month’s Under Siege 2023 event.
As noted before, CM Punk and Mercedes Mone were both seen in attendance backstage at the tapings. While it is currently not known why Punk attended, the reason for Mone’s visit was to support Trinity for his official debut appearances in Impact. Besides Punk and Mone, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that WWE’s Tamina Snuka was also seen in attendance backstage to support Trinity.
Full results from Impact’s Spring Slugfest Night 2 spoilers:
- Before The Impact pre-show: The Design (Deaner & Kon) defeated Zicky Dice & Johnny Swinger
- Before The Impact pre-show: Sami Callihan defeated Shogun
- Trey Miguel defeated Laredo Kid. Following the match, Miguel gave a post-match promo demanded for more respect to be given towards him and for a quality opponent for his X-Division Championship. Chris Sabin came out and confronted Miguel saying that he has not given enough respect towards others to be respected. This set up a match between the two for the X-Division Championship at Impact’s Under Siege 2023 event.
- Impact World Championship – Steve Maclin (c) defeated Rhino. Following the match, Maclin attacked Rhino with a chair and shovel resulting in Rhino being stretchered out.
- Jason Hotch defeated Ace Austin
- Trinity defeated KiLynn King. Following the match, Jai Vidal came out and confronted Trinity stating that Gisele Shaw accepts her open challenge for a match at Under Siege. Trinity responded by knocking out Vidal.
- Jody Threat defeated Sierra
- Alex Shelley, Jonathan Gresham, & Yuya Uemura defeated Moose, Eddie Edwards, & Frankie Kazarian
- Chris Sabin defeated Mike Bailey
- Sheldon Jean & Kenny King defeated Decay (Black Taurus & Crazzy Steve). Nick Aldis was on commentary as the special guest commentator. Following the match, King confronted Aldis setting up a match between the two at Under Siege.
- Taylor Wilde defeated Jessika
- Jordynne Grace defeated Alisha Edwards
- Chris Bey defeated John Skylar
- In a promo segment, Maclin stated that his Imapct World title match against PCO is now off due to him “killing” PCO. Maclin then offered to defend his title against Champagne Singh. Singh and Shera came out to accept but their celebration was interrupted by Impact President Scott D’Amore who stated that Maclin was wrong about PCO being “killed.” PCO then emerged and attacked Maclin, Singh, and Shera.
- Impact Knockouts World Championship – Deonna Purrazzo (c) defeated Killer Kelly
