New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that they will be debuting a new championship next month for their NJPW Strong brand.
This new championship was announced to be called the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship and a one-night tournament will be held to crown its inaugural champion at next month’s NJPW Resurgence 2023 event in Long Beach, California.
It was also announced that Stephanie Vaquer, Mercedes Mone, Momo Kohgo, and Willow Nightingale will be the official competitors for this upcoming four-woman NJPW Strong Women’s Championship tournament.
It was also announced that Vaquer will be facing off against Mone and Kohgo will be facing off against Nightingale in semi-finals matches.
