In-Ring: Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Grayson Waller

NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes makes his way to the ring with Trick Williams. Hayes says it is important that we address what happened last week. Bron Breakker, everything between them was supposed to be about respect. I let my guard down and I got caught. Trick says it won’t happen again. Hayes says he understands that Bron has to deal with his loss at Stand and Deliver. Raising his hand wasn’t a passing of the torch. Hayes says he took it. They don’t want you to be their number one any more. They want Melo. Hayes says they are going to be battling for a long time. Wrestlemania was a chapter of their long story. Hayes says he is going to offer Bron a shot in the Four Way Match for a shot at him at Spring Breaking. Hayes says he is not asking.

Dragon Lee’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Lee says the champ is here and he congratulates Hayes on winning the title. Lee says last week, he understands that Hayes wants respect. Lee says he came here to fight the best. He says that Lee wants Bron, but after he wins the match tonight, it will be them for the title. Hayes welcomes Lee to NXT and he says that Lee is a phenomenal talent. Trick tells Lee you don’t interrupt the champion. Hayes says Lee gets a pass since he is new. Hayes has the title because he is the best.

JD McDonagh interrupts and he makes his way to the ring. JD says Hayes has new challengers. You armor of invincibility is weakening. In one week, you were taken out by Bron Breakker. JD says if it was him, he would come out and head butt you to your face. You need to learn that ego is loud while confidence is quiet. He doesn’t need the fancy entrances. When that bell goes, he knows that he is number one. He says Lee will find out tonight and JD will find out in two weeks. Hayes tells JD he has to get over the rainbow to get his pot of gold. What matters is . . .

Grayson Waller interrupts. Waller says he is the third man in the match. Did you think he was finished? You are dumber that he thought. Waller says that the audience and Lee are estupido. Tonight, he is winning the match and a true superstar is going to be the champ. Hayes says in two weeks, someone will face him in two weeks.


Backstage: Kiana James, Fallon Henley, Josh Briggs

Kiana James is in the back and Fallon asks if they are okay. Kiana and Fallon yell about the cheating issue and Kiana says that they are going to win by any means necessary. She does not want goody two shoes Fallon. Josh shows up and he tells them to calm down. Josh asks where is Brooks and Kiana says Brooks doesn’t want to be around Josh or Fallon.


Segment: Sol Ruca, Dani Palmer, Tiffany Stratton

We are back with a TikTok video of Sol Ruca and Dani Palmer and Tiffany Stratton tells them to stop doing it in her parking space. She hates that Sol and Dani are friends.


NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship
Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn (c) vs. Kiana James & Fallon Henley

Kiana attacks Fyre before the bell and Fallon goes after Dawn. Kiana slams Fyre on the floor. Fallon with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Kiana tags in and kicks Isla. Kiana with shoulders and Fallon tags in and hits a back elbow for a near fall. Fyre trips Fallon and Alba with a forearm to Henley.

We see Brooks Jensen arrive at the Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment.

Back in the ring, Fyre kicks Fallon and Isla tags in and she kicks Fallon. Fyre tags in and chokes Fallon. Fallon kicks Fyre and Fyre keeps Fallon from making the tag. Fyre with a back body drop ad she gets between Fallon and Kiana. Fallon escapes and makes the tag. Dawn tags in and Kiana with an Irish whip and shoulders in the corner. Fyre with a double thrust but James runs Fyre into the corner and then hits a back handspring and then hits a splash. Fallon tags in and hits a forearm to the back. James sends Fyre to the floor and Fallon slides to the floor to punch Dawn while James hits a moonsault onto Fyre.

Fallon with a forearm to Dawn while Kiana sends Alba into the apron. Alba with a knee to James and she sends James into the apron. James with a chop to Fyre while Fallon works over Dawn. James sends Fyre into the ring post while Fallon connects with a forearm to Dawn’s back followed by a butterfly suplex for a near fall. James tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle and Kiana gets a near fall. Dawn with punches but James with a waist lock. Fyre tags in and she gets James up when Fallon gets an O’Connor Roll. Fyre with a gourdbuster onto Dawn’s knees for a near fall. Dawn tags in and she applies a tarantula while Fyre hits a thrust kick. Dawn gets a near fall.

Fyre kicks James in the corner. Dawn tags in and she kicks Kiana. Dawn pulls James to the mat to keep her from making the tag. Dawn with a seated abdominal stretch. Dawn with a knee to the midsection. Dawn with a head butt to the midsection. James with a sunset flip for a near fall. Fyre tags in and Fyre gets James up but James kicks Dawn and hits a Code Red on Fyre for a near fall. Fyre goes for a suplex but James lands on her feet and James with a belly-to-back suplex. Dawn and Fallon tag in and Fallon with a clothesline and punches. Fallon blocks a kick and connects with a forearm and a springboard tornado bulldog. Fallon with an elbow into the corner followed by a flying hair take down. Fallon punches Fyre and then she hits a double jump blockbuster for a near fall. James is sent to the apron by Fyre and Fyre with a thrust kick. Fallon misses a kick and then Fallon and Dawn with round kicks at the same time. Fallon with a Destroyer and Brooks gives Fallon the bag to use and Fallon throws it back at Brooks.

The referee sends Brooks to the back while Fallon wants to know what Brooks is doing. Brooks pushes Josh down.

Dawn with a round kick on Fallon and Fyre tags in. Dawn with a lungblower followed by a swanton from Fyre for the three count.

Winners: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (retain championship)

In-Ring: Chase University, Bron Breakker

We go the ring for the Chase University Award Ceremony. Andre welcomes everyone and says the chips were down at Stand and Deliver and this man went beyond the call of duty to earn the title of Most Valuable Player. They might not see eye to eye, but he knows they will stand next to each other to face anyone who comes after them.

Duke takes his trophy. Duke thanks Andre and he says he doesn’t like award ceremonies. He does not want the trophies. He says after thinking about Stand and Deliver, on the biggest night of his career on the biggest event in NXT. He took the entire university on his large back and he took them to the promised land. Duke says it was a team effort but he led them. Duke thanks Andre and Thea, he thinks. Duke says he is Chase University’s MVP. Duke says there is another word he would like to spell out.

Bron Breakker comes through the crowd and he interrupts the spelling bee. He says he knows everyone wants to hear what he has to say. Andre tells Bron he is interrupting something. Bron mentions the Number One Contender match and people ask why isn’t he in the match. Melo wants him in the match. Bron says the championship is a curse on his career. He says he does not need the approval of these scumbags any more. Bron says you are going to see a side of him you never saw before. He tells Duke that if anyone should take his place in the number one contender’s match tonight, it should be Duke.

Bron shakes Duke’s hand and then he spears Chase. Duke takes his trophy and gets out of the ring. Bron rips the Chase U flag and breaks the flagpole before dropping it on Chase.


Segment: Gigi Dolin

We go to a vacant house and Gigi Dolin says this is where she lived. She would stare out of that window hoping to get out. She talks about the vicious cycle. Gigi says her mother said they should never be happy. That is why she got away. She says Jacy couldn’t let her have her moment at Stand and Deliver. Jacy broke her heart and her face, but she will never break her will. The rose on her arm has gone from jagged and ugly only to bloom into something beautiful.


Segment: NXT Anonymous

We are back with a look at NXT Anonymous viewing an attack by Tony D’Angelo and Channing Lorenzo on Pretty Deadly over the weekend.


Eddy Thorpe vs. Javier Bernal

Bernal with a wrist lock and Eddy with a reversal. Bernal with a monkey flip but Eddy holds on to the wrist lock. Bernal with a reversal. Eddy with a side head lock take down. Bernal with a head scissors and Eddy escapes. Bernal with a side head lock take down. Bernal with a shoulder tackle. Eddy with a cross body.

Damon Kemp comes out to watch the match.

Bernal sends Eddy to the floor and then he sends Thorpe into the announce table. Bernal with a sliding clothesline for a near fall. Eddy blocks a Boston Crab and rolls through when Bernal gets him over. Eddy kicks Bernal away. Eddy with punches and he blocks a kick. Eddy with a chop and an enzuigiri. Eddy with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Bernal with a belly-to-back into a side slam for a near fall. Bernal with an inside cradle for a near fall. Eddy with a suplex and a butterfly neck breaker for the three count.

Segment: Tank Ledger, Gallus, The Schism

We see Tank Ledger at a photo shoot and Gallus show up. Tank says he will make his debut in a few weeks. Joe says it is time to move up the debut.

Schism show up and Rip says Gallus starting a fight with someone they can beat. Joe says there is enough to go around. Gacy says they have been kept out of the tag title picture. Wolfgang says they are okay with beating them again. Jagger says they are not asking.


Segment: Scrypts

SCRYPTS asks what is Axiom’s biggest fear. Is it looking in the mirror and seeing the man behind the mask? It seems he has your attention. What comes next won’t be anything new. You can’t expose me because I am exposing you.


Tiffany Stratton vs. Sol Ruca

They lock up and Sol backs Tiffany into the ropes. Tiffany kicks Sol when Sol gives a clean break. Tiffany with a wrist lock. Sol is sent to the mat by the hair. Sol with a wrist lock and she works on the arm. Sol with a snap mare and Tiffany with an elbow. Sol with a shoulder tackle. Sol lands on her feet on a hip toss and Sol avoids a leg sweep with a back flip. Tiffany with an Irish whip and Sol floats over. Tiffany does a back flip out of the corner and rolls through. Sol and Tiffany both with back handsprings away from each other. Tiffany offers her hand and Sol trusts her but Tiffany kicks Sol and then hits a moonsault for a near fall. Tiffany sends Sol into the turnbuckles.

Tiffany gets a near fall. Tiffany with a kick to the arm. Tiffany with a back elbow. Tiffany with an arm wringer and she gets a near fall. Tiffany keeps Sol on the mat. Sol with a wrist lock take down and shoulder tackles. Sol with a flying shoulder tackle followed by a back heel kick and a butterfly suplex. Tiffany with a kick. Sol with a power slam for a near fall. Sol with a handspring splash into the corner followed by a power slam for a near fall. Tiffany rolls to the floor. Sol goes for a suicide dive but Tiffany with a round kick. Tiffany goes for a suplex but Sol with an inside cradle. Sol with a rollup but Tiffany has her hand on the ropes. Sol with a hot shot but she misses a clothesline. Tiffany with a Finlay Slam followed by the Best Moonsault Ever for the three count.

Backstage: Chase University

Thea brings some water for Andre. Duke thanks Andre for taking one for the team so he could get into the number one contender match. Duke says he will be the first to bring gold to Chase U.


Backstage: The Creeds, Ivy Nile, Tiffany Stratton

Ivy Nile is with The Creeds and McKenzie. Ivy says that she is done with Tatum so it is back to the three of them. Julius says they are making a challenge to Gallus next week for the Tag Titles. Brutus says the Dyad is trying to get into everything. Julius says they are not done with Gallus so they will be out there for Joe’s match.

Tiffany Stratton shows up and says she does not know how she is not the number one contender for the title.


In-Ring: Cora Jade, Lyra Valkyria

Cora Jade makes her way to the ring. Cora asks if she has everybody’s attention. Last week, she returned to find the NXT Women’s division completely upside down so it is time to humble some people. She says she is going to start with Zoey Stark. She gives it to Zoey because she can do things that Cora cannot. Cora says she is the only one who will tell Zoey she will always be the challenger and never the champion. Cora moves on to Roxanne Perez. She says she put Roxanne on the map the second she put that tag title belt in your back. She isn’t going to touch what Roxanne went through because it is real. She says she won’t talk about it, but how long will you use it as your crutch? You aren’t special. You are proof that some people are better at handling the pressure than others.

Cora thought Gigi would crumble without Toxic Attraction but you did it. You were fingertips away from the title. The title says Cora Jade so don’t let the door hit your big ass on the way out. Cora tells Tiffany that she loves the confidence and ego. You play the part well. Cora tells Tiffany that she runs this place, not Tiffany. Cora says she doesn’t know about Lyra Valkyria. She says Lyra will attack anything with a pulse and you showed no fear at Stand and Deliver. You need to fear her.

Cora moves on to Indi Hartwell. Cora says people were chanting ‘you deserve it’, but they should have been chanting ‘took you long enough’. Cora says she is the hero of this fairy tale.

Lyra Valkyria comes out and she says that Cora can shut up now. You can cut through the women’s division, but what is the reason behind it? She asks if it is because in your absence, the locker room moved forward. Cora tells Lyra to fly off because she doesn’t want to hear from Lyra. Lyra asks if Cora got jealous watching Stand and Deliver. Lyra says if you want to come back a house on fire and reach the peak of the mountain on the microphone, go ahead. If you go anywhere near the title, she will rake your eyes out.

Cora slaps Lyra and Lyra kicks Cora and Cora goes to the floor to avoid any more from Lyra.


Backstage: Wes Lee, Drew Gulak, Charlie Dempsey

Wes Lee is with McKenzie. She asks Wes how does he stay so sharp. Wes mentions the chip he still has on his shoulders.

Drew Gulak shows up with Charlie Dempsey and he was impressed with his match against Axiom. He wonders if Wes can win without flying. Charlie asks how can you run around when your ligaments are torn. Wes says if you want an opportunity, ask him. Wes says he has one plan and that is to keep this title.


Von Wagner vs. Ila Dragunov

If Von loses, Stone is no longer with Von

Ilja runs into a boot from Von and Von with forearms and clotheslines. Von with a back elbow and an Irish whip. Von with a splash into the corner. Von with a biel. Von with a hard Irish whip and then he kicks Ilja. Ilja with a back elbow and he tries for a suplex but Von blocks it. Von with a belly-to-back suplex. Stone tells Von to win the match. Von with a waist lock and Ilja with elbows. Ilja with a waist lock and Von with a back elbow to stop a deadlift German suplex. Ilja with Konstantin Special followed by a wrist clutch German suplex. Ilja goes up top and Von stops him. Von with a press slam and he sets for a twisting butterfly suplex for a near fall. Von punches Ila but Ilja with an enzuigiri.

Ilja with a back heel kick and a flying forearm. Ilja with Torpedo Moscow for the three count.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov

After the match, Stone walks away from Von Wagner.

Dijak makes his way to the ring and Ilja waits for him. Dijak appears behind Dragunov. Dijak says if Ilja says pain makes him feel alive, he is going to make Ilja immortal.


Backstage: Tank Ledger, Hank Walker

Tank bounces in the back and Hank Walker shows up to wish him luck. He tells Tank you need to be ready for anything. Tank says he can show everyone what he is about.


Joe Coffey vs. Tank Ledger

Joe with a forearm to the back. Tank misses a punch and Joe pie faces him. Tank pushes Joe to the mat. Joe with a side head lock and he tries for a shoulder tackle but he bounces off Tank. Tank with a side head lock and a flying shoulder tackle for a near fall. Tank works on the shoulder and Joe with a European uppercut and drop kick. Joe sends Tank into the corner and then Irish whips him again. Joe with a back breaker for a near fall. Joe with an arm bar. Joe runs his forearm across the bridge of the nose. Joe traps the arms and Joe with a head butt. Tank with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and both men are down. Tank with a punch and clotheslines. Tank with a back elbow.

Tank with a cartwheel and a splash for a near fall. Tank gets Joe up but Joe grabs the ropes to stop an Alabama Slam. Joe escapes and he avoids a splash from Tank. Joe with a punch and Tank goes to the floor. Joe goes to the floor and he hits a running forearm that sends Tank into the ring steps. Joe sends Tank back into the ring. Joe with a discus clothesline and then he poses. Joe with another discus clothesline for the three count.

Winner: Joe Coffey

After the match, the Creeds show up and then The Dyad attack from the other side. Referees show up to slow down the pandemonium in the ring.


Backstage: Tony D’Angelo, Stacks, Roxanne Perez, Zoey Stark, Pretty Deadly

Tony and Channing talk about their attack on Pretty Deadly and they ask Roxanne how she is doing.

Roxanne says she is ready to get her title back. Roxanne says she is happy that Zoey got her karma.

Zoey shows up and says it is great that Roxanne finally came back. Roxanne says it is people like Zoey why people aren’t open about their issues. Roxanne says she will beat Zoey next week.

Tony wants to ask Zoey a question but they are attacked from behind by Pretty Deadly to get some revenge for what Tony and Channing did last weekend.


Next Week

Next week we will have a Triple Threat match for the Men’s Tag Titles. Wes Lee faces Charlie Dempsey for the North American Title.


Four Way #1 Contender Match
Dragon Lee vs. Grayson Waller vs. Duke Hudson vs. JD McDonagh

Waller and Duke talk strategy but Waller tries to punch Duke but Duke blocks it. Lee with a forearm to Duke and Waller pulls Duke to the floor. Lee goes for a German suplex but JD blocks it. Lee with a drop kick when JD goes for a leap frog. Waller kicks Lee many times. Waller gets Lee up but Lee with a head scissors and Waller goes to the corner. JD with a kick from the apron and Waller with a kick to Lee. Waller with a baseball slide to Duke. JD with a double sledge to Duke’s back. Waller and JD go for a double suplex and Duke blocks it and hits a double suplex of his own. Duke with a slam to JD and then he slams Duke onto JD and then he slams Lee onto JD and Waller. Duke goes over the top rope to the floor when Lee drops down.

Lee with a flip dive onto Duke. Waller slides under JD and Waller with a clothesline to Lee. JD with an Asai Moonsault to Lee. Duke is in the ring and he takes too long to make up his mind so Waller hits a slingshot rolling cutter for a near fall when the cover is broken up by Lee and JD. Waller sends Lee to the floor and JD kicks Duke in the corner. Duke with a punch to JD but Waller kicks Duke and wraps the leg in the ropes. JD kicks Duke. Waller with a step over toe hold. JD with forearms to Duke’s back and Duke’s knee is driven into the mat. JD hyper-extends the leg. Waller with an elbow drop to the leg. JD with an elbow drop to the other leg and both work on Duke.

They make a wish and JD knocks Lee off the apron. Duke punches JD and Waller clips Duke. Waller stops Lee from getting into the ring. JD and Duke with single leg crabs on Duke. Lee kicks JD when JD goes for a shoulder. Lee slingshots into the ring with a head scissors to Waller. Lee with a slingshot drop kick to JD in the corner. Lee with a hesitation drop kick to Waller. Lee slides to the floor and JD sends Lee into the ring post. Waller sends JD into the ring post. Waller with an elbow drop off the turnbuckles on Duke for a near fall. Waller punches Duke and Duke U’s Up. Duke with punches and forearms followed by a back elbow. Duke with a side slam to Waller followed by a back body drop to JD. Duke with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Duke with a clothesline to Lee in the corner followed by a Uranage to JD and a clothesline to Lee. Duke with jabs and a Bionic elbow to Waller.

Duke with a back senton to Waller. Duke slingshots into the ring and hits a German suplex on Lee but Waller breaks up the cover. Duke blocks an Irish whip and Duke with an electric chair drop on Waller. Duke with another to Lee. Duke gets JD up but JD with a poisonrana to Duke. JD trips Waller and hits a twisting slingshot splash. JD with Devil Inside to Waller but Lee breaks up the cover with a double stomp. Lee with a knee to JD from the apron but JD kicks Lee on the turnbuckles. JD goes for Spanish Fly but Lee blocks it and Lee gets JD in the tree of woe for a double stomp. Lee with a suicide dive onto Duke. Lee with a running knee to JD for a near fall. Lee with a kick to Waller. JD with a jaw breaker to Lee. Duke kicks Waller off the apron into the announce table. Duke with a double clothesline.

Duke goes for an Outsider’s Edge but Lee counters into a rana that sends Duke into the turnbuckles. JD with a drop kick to Duke. Lee with a German suplex that sends JD to the floor. Lee with a sit out power bomb on Duke but Waller with a slingshot rolling cutter on Lee and Waller steals the three count on Duke.

Winner: Grayson Waller

We go to credits with Carmelo Hayes coming out to confront his opponent in two weeks.
