WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon reportedly had made several “major changes” to the original plans for Monday’s WWE RAW show in Chicago, Illinois, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that McMahon was not physically present backstage for Monday’s RAW show but several major changes to the original plans and script were made at his request from a remote location. These changes reportedly were made around a few hours before the start of the show but it is currently not known what was actually changed.
In regards to the backstage reaction, Johnson reported that talent were unhappy in general over the changes made by McMahon. Johnson reported while their unhappiness was not at the same level as the infamous April 3rd RAW After Mania show in Los Angeles, it was bubbling towards that point.
