Tiffany Stratton Wins NXT Women’s Championship
Sunday’s NXT Battleground event for WWE in Lowell, Massachusetts featured Tiffany Stratton defeating Lyra Valkyria in the Finals of the NXT Women’s Championship tournament to be crowned the new NXT Women’s Champion. This title was vacated by Indi Hartwell following her being drafted to WWE’s RAW brand earlier this month/

This was Stratton’s first ever championship victory in WWE’s NXT brand and in her WWE career.
Wes Lee Sets New All-Time Title Defense NXT Record
Sunday’s NXT Battleground event in Lowell also featured Wes Lee successfully retaining his NXT North American Championship in a Triple Threat match against Tyler Bate and Joe Gacy.
WWE announced that as a result of Lee’s successful title defense, he broke the record for most title defenses in a row for any NXT branded championship in NXT history at ten successful defenses in a row.
Lee has been the current NXT North American Champion since this past October. Lee’s current reign of 218 days and counting is also the longest ever WWE recognized single title reign for the North American Championship in NXT history.
