As noted before, former WWE Tough Enough winner and wrestler Sara Lee, Sara Weston, passed away this past October. The cause of Lee’s passing was not known at the time.
TMZ reported that Lee’s passing was revealed to have been due to suicide based on autopsy records from the Bexar County (Texas) Medical Examiner’s Office.
It was reported that Lee’s death was caused by her ingesting a lethal combination of alcohol and pills. In the documents, it was stated that police officers had found “letters of intent at the scene” that were left by Lee prior to her death.
The documents also stated that Lee was found with bruises and abrasions on her head at body at the time of her passing but officials suspected that she may have suffered these injuries from a fall or multiple falls while in an intoxicated state.
Prior to her passing, Lee’s career in WWE spanned from 2015 to 2016 and was most known in wrestling for being the winner of the 2015 edition of WWE’s Tough Enough competition series.
