AEW reportedly is currently planning for CM Punk to make a live appearance at this Wednesday’s Dynamite show in Chicago, Illinois, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that those close to Punk stated that he would be appearing at the show despite AEW’s lack of an official announcement for him for their upcoming show.
In regards to Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks’ status for this Wednesday’s Dynamite show, it was reported that neither Omega or the Young Bucks are currently planned to make a live appearance. It was reported that AEW had filmed some promos for Omega and the Young Bucks to progress their storylines in AEW and Forbidden Door II’s final build. It was also reported that neither Omega nor the Young Bucks had traveled to Chicago this past week.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources also confirmed that Omega will not be making a live appearance at Wednesday’s Dynamite show in Chicago. Meltzer reported that Omega is also currently not expected to make a live appearance at this Saturday’s Collision show in Toronto, Canada.
