As noted before, EJ Nduka’s contract with Major League Wrestling expired this past January and had major interest from both WWE and AEW for a potential contract with either company.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Nduka had signed an official contract with AEW following his debut for the company this past January.
It was reported that it is currently not known if Nduka is under a tiered or full-time type contract with AEW.
It was also reported that prior to his signing, WWE and several other promotions in Japan and Mexico had been also interested in signing him. In regards to WWE, it was reported that following James Kimball’s firing from the company, a lot of talent he was looking into for potential hirings were not followed upon by WWE officials.
