ROH TV Spoilers for July 20th Episode – Updated Death Before Dishonor 2023 Card, Stardom Talent Makes Appearance

Ring of Honor held a new set of television tapings for ROH TV on Saturday at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This taping will be for the July 20th episode of ROH TV.

This taping was held both before and after AEW’s Collision taping at the same venue that night.

In regards to the build for next week’s Death Before Dishonor 2023 event, one new match and one updated match were announced for the card of the event during the tapings. In regards to the new match, this is a ROH Pure Championship match of Daniel Garcia vs. Katsuyori Shibata (c). In regards to the updated match, this will be a ROH World Television Championship match of Dalton Castle vs. Samoa Joe (c).

In regards to other notable moments from the tapings, Stardom talent Utami Hayashishita made a surprise appearance and competed in a singles match against Trish Adora. This was Hayashishita’s official debut appearance for the company.

Full results from ROH’s ROH TV tapings on July 15th:

• Pure Rules match – Daniel Garcia defeated Jason Gieger.  Following the match, ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata came out and had a staredown with Garcia in the ring. This match for the ROH Pure Championship between Garcia and Shibata was made official for Death Before Dishonor 2023 prior to the tapings.
• ROH World Television Championship Eliminator Tournament Finals – Dalton Castle defeated Shane Taylor. As a result of Castle’s victory, he will be facing off against Samoa Joe for the ROH World TV title at Death Before Dishonor 2023.
• Utami Hayashishita defeated Trish Adora
• Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Dalton Rude
• The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) defeated The Boys (Brandon & Brent Tate). Following the match, Evil Uno came out leading to Stu Grayson beating up one of the Boys in response. Grayon and Uno appear to likely have some sort of confrontation set for ROH’s Death Before Dishinor 2023 event.
• Leyla Hirsch defeated Nicole “Nikki” Matthews
• Pure Rules match – Josh Woods defeated James Stone
• ROH Women’s World Championship Proving Ground match – Athena defeated Nikita. Following the match, Athena continued her attack on Nikita.
• Four-way match – The Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) defeated The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake), The Bollywood Boyz (Gurv & Harv Sihra), and Action Andretti & Darius Martin
