Jon Moxley Pulled from Tuesday’s Dynamite Show Due to Not Being Medically Cleared
Tuesday’s Dynamite Title Tuesday show in Independence, Missouri featured a Buy-In Pre-show involving AEW CEO Tony Khan announcing that Jon Moxley had been pulled from the show due to him not being medically cleared from his recent concussion injury.
Khan also announced that despite Moxley’s injury, Rey Fenix would still be defending his AEW International Championship on the show. This led to HOOK and Orange Cassidy interrupting Khan and HOOK offering Cassidy as Fenix’s new opponent which both Khan and Cassidy agreed to make official.

Two New Champions Crowned at AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday Show
Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday special in Independence also featured two new championships changing hands.
The first title change involved Orange Cassidy defeated Rey Fenix to become the new AEW International Champion.

As a result of his victory, Cassidy became the first person in AEW history to win the AEW International title twice in their career.
The second title change involved Hikaru Shida defeated Saraya for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

As a result of her victory, Shida became the first person in AEW history to win the AEW Women’s title three times in their career.
Bryan Danielson Wins #1 Contender Match for TNT Title
Tuesday’s Dynamite Title Tuesday show in Independence also featured Bryan Danielson defeating Swerve Strickland in a #1 Contender match for the TNT Championship.
The finish to this match involved Prince Nana distracting referee Aubrey Edwards leading to Strickland grabbing Nana’s crown and attempted to use it as a weapon. Strickland’s plans was foiled by Hangman Adam Page who ran out and yanked the crown away from Strickland. This led to Strickland attempting a JML Driver that was countered by Danielson who then popped up and hit a Busiaku Knee for the pinfall victory.

As a result of his victory, Danielson will face off against Christian Cage for the TNT Championship at the October 14th AEW Collision show in Toledo, Ohio.
