Wheeler Yuta Wins ROH Pure Title at Saturday’s AEW Rampage Show
Saturday’s special live Rampage show featured Wheeler Yuta defeating Katsuyori Shibata to become the new ROH Pure Champion.
The finish to this match involved Yuta hitting a spiked DDT onto Shibata for a nearfall with his legs on the ropes while the ref was not looking. Shibata then argued with the ref only for Yuta to shove Shibata into the ref causing the ref to fall down and Yuta hitting Shibata with a low blow. Yuta then hit another DDT and followed it with a Seatbelt for the pinfall victory to become the new ROH Pure Champion for the third time in his career.
