Update:
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported on Twitter that his sources confirmed that Hardy had suffered a broken nose injury but he did not suffer a concussion.
The word from within AEW is that Jeff Hardy suffered a broken nose last night but not a concussion.
Jeff Hardy suffered a potential head injury at Wednesday’s AEW Rampage tapings in Cedar Park, Texas.
Based on those in attendance at the tapings, Hardy suffered the injury during his No DQ match against Sammy Guevara following a spot involving Guevara performing a Shooting Star Press, which was blocked by Hardy who put his knees up but Guevara’s knee collided onto Hardy’s face during his landing.
Referee Paul Turner called for the ringside doctor to check on Hardy and after some time had passed, an audible was called for the match to go right to its finish. Hardy was seen bleeding from either his nose or lip after the match but he was able to walk out to the back under his own power with the help of ringside officials.
