  1. Will Ospreay defeated Katsuyori Shibata via Hidden Blade (pinfall)
    • Following the match, Ospreay bowed to Shibata in a sign of respect to him and Shibata gave Ospreay a hug in return.
  2. AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Round match – Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) defeated Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) via EVP Trigger (pinfall)
    • Nicholas pinned Quen after Matthew dodged away from Quen’s 630 Senton and tagged in Nicholas and hit their tag team EVP Trigger finisher for the victory.
  3. AEW TBS Championship #1 Contender Four-way match – Willow Nightingale defeated Kris Statlander, Skye Blue, and Anna Jay via Babe With The Powerbomb (pinfall)
    • Nightingale pinned Jay after Jay had tossed Statlander out of the ring resulting in Nightingale grabbing Jay and hitting a Babe With The Powerbomb for the victory.
    • Following the match, Julia Hart ran out and attacked Nightingale. Hart then turned her attention towards Mercedes Mone seated at ringside before leaving with Blue. Statlander checked upon Nightingale in the ring while Nightingale and Mone stared at each other.
  4. AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Round match – Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Orange Cassidy) defeated The Undisputed Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) via Jackknife Pin (pinfall)
    • Beretta pinned Bennett after catching him in a Jackknife flash pin to give the Best Friends the victory.
    • Following the match, Cassidy, Beretta, and Chuck Taylor celebrated and were about to do their big group hug moment being being interrupted by the Young Bucks music. The Young Bucks came out from the stage elevator and walked out a bit before quickly walking back and descending down the stage elevator while the Best Friends looked on confused over what just happened.
  5. AEW World Championship #1 Contender match – Swerve Strickland defeated Konosuke Takeshita via Big Pressure (pinfall)

AEW Airs Bryan Danielson Hype Vignette at Wednesday’s Dynamite Show

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured AEW airing a vignette hyping up Bryan Danielson’s legendary wrestling career and his status as a “greatest of all-time wrestler” ahead of his upcoming match against Will Ospreay at next month’s AEW Dynasty event.


Young Bucks & Best Friends Advances in AEW Tag Titles Tournament

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured The Young Bucks and Best Friends advancing to the next round of AEW’s tag team tournament to crown new AEW World Tag Team Champions.

The first Quarterfinals Round match featured The Young Bucks defeating Private Party.

The second Quarterfinals Round match featured Best Friends defeating The Undisputed Kingdom.

As a result of their victories, The Young Bucks will be facing off against Best Friends in the Semifinal Round of AEW’s World Tag Team titles tournament.


Willow Nightingale vs. Julia Hart for TBS Title Set for AEW Dynasty

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured one of two new matches officially announced for AEW Dynasty.

This new match announced was a TBS Championship match of Willow Nightingale vs. Julia Hart (c).

This match was setup following Nightingale defeating Kris Statlander, Skye Blue, & Anna Jay in a #1 Contender Four-way match on the show. Following Nightingale’s victory and ambush attack by Hart, it was announced that this match was made official for Dynasty.


Swerve Strickland vs. Samoa Joe for AEW World Title Set for AEW Dynasty

Wednesday’s Dynamite show also featured the AEW World Championship match officially set for AEW Dynasty, which takes place on April 21st at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.

This match will be Samoa Joe defending his title against Swerve Strickland, who defeated Konosuke Takeshita in a #1 Contender’s match on the show. Following Strickland’s victory and Samoa Joe giving his comments in a backstage interview, it was announced that this match was made official for Dynasty.
