UPDATE:
Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston initially reported that AEW’s initial ratings did not include the overrun due to an error from a error by Nielsen.
In a follow-up report, Thurston reported that AEW’s actual overall viewership was slightly lower at 798,000 viewers once the overrun was factored in due to the overrun had lost enough viewers to the point it actually managed to drag down AEW’s viewership. AEW’s key demographic rating was unaffected by this issue and remained at a 0.27 rating.
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite drew 801,000 viewers on TBS, up from last week’s 779,000 viewers. This week’s show was notable for being the Dynamite Big Business special.
It drew a 0.27 rating in the 18-49 key demographic, same as last week’s rating.
This time last year on March 15, 2023, Dynamite drew 852,000 viewers and a 0.27 18-49 rating. The March 16, 2022 episode drew 933,000 viewers and a 0.38 rating.
