The Acclaimed Responds to Bullet Club Gold’s Attack & Breakup of Bang Bang Scissors Gang

Wednesday’s live Rampage show featured The Acclaimed responding to the Bullet Club Gold’s actions and breakup of the Bang Bank Scissor Gang at last week’s Dynamite show.

AEW backstage interviewer Renee Paquette welcomed The Acclaimed on the stage. Max Caster talked about Bullet Club Gold’s attack on Billy Gunn last week and that being the reason why Gunn was not cleared to travel to Toronto for tonight’s show. Caster then called out BCG for not bothering to show up in person tonight and talked about how Jay White claims about hos he saved Darby Allin’s life. Caster stated that he offers a chance to save White’s life by giving him a one-way trip to anywhere but AEW. Caster then stated that White is not a smart man and when he comes back, The Acclaimed will hunt him and the rest of BCG down for what they did.

Anthony Bowens responded stating that BCG are not elite enough to be here and mocked The Gunns for not being included in the AEW Tag Team titles tournament and White for doing little of note aside from winning a title with the help of The Acclaimed. Bowens then asked the crowd to show White how they feel about him and stated in the end everybody loves The Acclaimed.

Skye Blue & Julia Hart Wins Street Fight Match at Wed’s Rampage Show

Wednesday’s live Rampage show also featured Skye Blue & Julia Hart defeating Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale in a Street Fight match.

The finish to this match involved Blue grabbing a bag of thumbtacks and pouring it onto the mat leading to Statlander doing the same with another bag of thumbtacks. Statlander attempted to superplex Blue onto the tacks only for Blue to escape and powerbombed Statlander right onto the tacks instead for the near fall. Blue then placed some tacks into Statlander’s mouth and hit a superkick for another near fall. Blue then went up to the top rope only to be stopped by Nightingale who hit a DVD to Blue off the apron through a set of tables on the outside.

In the ring, Hart placed a bunch of chairs in a pile and attempted a piledriver to Statlander only for Statlander to counter with a backdrop to Hart onto the chairs. Statlander then went up to the top rope to setup a 450 Splash only for Hart to dodge the attack resulting in Statlander’s knees crashing hard onto the chairs. Hart then locked in the Hartless Lock to Statlander causing Statlander to scream out in pain and tapped out giving Blue and Hart the victory in a wild Street Fight bout.
