Mike Santana reportedly recently departed from AEW, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that Santana is officially gone from the company and had not been seen in attendance backstage at AEW shows in months.
Santana’s profile on AEW’s roster page had been removed last week leading to speculation at the time of Santana being done with the company.
Santana last wrestled for AEW at the October 25, 2023 Rampage show, which featured Santana defeating Ortiz in a No Disqualification match. This was only one of three matches Santana had in the company since suffering a torn ACL injury in June of 2022. While he had not wrestled much for AEW, Santana has been actively wrestling in the indies since his return from injury.
Prior to his departure, Santana had been with AEW since October of 2019.
