Quick Match Results

  1. Asylum match – Dijak defeated Joe Gacy via Feat Your Eyes (pinfall)
  2. NXT Tag Team Championship – Wolf Dogs (Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker) (c) defeated Chase U (Duke Hudson & Andre Chase) via Spear
    • Breakker pinned Chase after Corbin hit a Deep Six to Chase that was followed by Breakker hitting a spear to Chase for the victory.
  3. Shawn Spears defeated Uriah Connors via C4 (pinfall)
  4. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) defeated Tatum Paxley & Lyra Valkyria via InSane Elbow (pinfall)
    • Sane pinned Paxley after Asuka held Paxley up in a reverse DDT hold for Sane’s InSane Elbow.
    • After the match, Roxanne Perez ran out from the crowd and attacked Valkyria. Perez stomped on Valkyria’s elbow injuring her and Valkyria yelling out in pain that it “popped out” while being attended to by NXT and medical officials.
  5. Fallon Henley defeated Blair Davenport via Pinfall
    • Near the end of the match, Sol Ruca made her surprise return and attacked Davenport on the outside while the referee was distracted with Henley in the ring. Ruca tossed Davenport into the ring leading to Henley covering Davenport for the pinfall victory.
  6. NXT Championship #1 Contender match – Tony D’Angelo defeated Carmelo Hayes via Forget About It (pinfall)
    • Near the end of the match, Trick Williams music played leading to Hayes and Hayes’ security at ringside being distracted. After Williams did not come out, Hayes turned out and was hit with a pop-up slam by D’Angelo who followed it with a Forget About It for the pinfall victory.
    • After the match, D’Angelo grabbed a microphone and stated that he apologized for the ruse earlier but still had a present for Hayes. This led to Williams’ music playing again and Williams attacking Hayes and Hayes’ security clearing them all out of the ring.

Luca Crusifino Joins The D’Angelo Family at Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock 2024 Show

Tuesday’s NXT Roadbock 2024 show featured Luca Crusifino officially joining Tony D’Angelo’s Family group.

In a backstage segment on the show, Adrianna Rizzo was seen giving a pep talk to D’Angelo in the locker room. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo stated that they had a guy outside and D’Angelo responded back telling Lorenzo to let him in. Crusifino walked into the room and D’Angleo stated that he likes Luca for being willing to roll up his sleeves and get things done. D’Angelo then stated that he could use Crusifino as part of his Family. Crusifino responded back accepting D’Angelo’s offer to join The Family.

Shawn Spears Makes NXT In-Ring Return at NXT Roadblock 2024

Tuesday’s NXT R show also featured Shawn Spears making his official in-ring return to WWE’s NXT brand.

Spears competed in a singles match against Uriah Connors, which was won by Spears who hit a C4 for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Spears grabbed a microphone and called out Ridge Holland. Spears talked about how it takes a certain type of man to hold up a mirror to see who they are and some people do not like what they see. Spears then stated that Holland says when he competes in the ring, he is doing it for your family and that sounds like a moral success but you are lying to yourself. Spears stated that that the darkest thoughts stay in you and the difference between them is that when he looks at the mirror, he is not ashamed of what he sees. After some more words, Spears was interrupted by Holland’s music, who came out to the ring and brawled with Spears. Spears slide a chair to Holland daring him to hit him with it. This led to NXT officials running out to the ring to stop Holland who dropped the chair after some hesitation over if he wanted to hit Spears and left the ring.

This was Spears’ first match in WWE since February of 2019.

Lyra Valkyria Suffers “Injury” at NXT Roadblock 2024

Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock 2024 show also featured Lyra Valkyria suffering a storyline elbow injury.

Following the Kabuki Warriors defeating Tatum Paxley & Lyra Valkyria, Roxanne Perez ran out and attacked Valkyria from behind. Perez then pulled Valkryia’s arm through the ropes and stomped on it causing Valkyria to yell out in pain. While being attended to by NXT officials and medical personnel, Valkyria stated that her elbow had popped out as a stretcher was brought to bring her to the back. Before the show went to a commercial break, Booker T delivered his “shucky ducky quack quack” line in a somber tone.

In a follow-up segment, Valkyria was seen being put into an ambulance while NXT head booker Shawn Michaels and NXT General Manager Ava looked on as the ambulance drove away.

Sol Ruca Makes Surprise NXT Return at NXT Roadblock 2024

Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock 2024 show also featured Sol Ruca making her surprise return from injury to NXT.

Near the end of Blair Davenport’s match against Fallon Henley, Ruca made her surprise appearance and hit a cartwheel DDT off the barricade to Davenport while the referee was distracted. Ruca then tossed Davenport back into the ring leading to Henley pinning Davenport for the victory.

This was Ruca’s first appearance in NXT since this past April due to a torn ACL injury.

Wins #1 Contender Match for NXT Title at Stand & Deliver 2024

Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock 2024 show also featured Tony D’Angelo defeating Carmelo Hayes in a #1 Contender’s match for the NXT Championship.

Near the end of the match, Hayes went to the top rope to setup a Nothin But Net to D’Angelo but was interrupted by Trick Williams’ music playing. Hayes and Hayes’ security on the outside then looked at the entrance waiting to Williams for to come, who did not come out. After the music stopped, Hayes turned around and was hit with a pop-up slam and followed it with a Forget About It for the pinfall victory.

After the match, D’Angelo grabbed a microphone and apologized for the stunt he pulled earlier and said he still had a present for Hayes. This turned out to be Williams’ music playing again and Williams came out and attacked Hayes. Williams then got into a brawl with Hayes’ security and cleared them all out of the ring and tried to attack Hayes again, who quickly left the ring.

As a result of his victory, D’Angelo will officially challenge Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver 2024, which takes place on April 6th at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
