AEW reportedly released ten talents on Monday, according to Fightful.
Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that The Boys (Brandon & Brent Tate), Anthony Henry, Stu Grayson, Gravity, Slim J, Parker Boudreaux, Jose The Assistant, and Jora Johl were released on Monday.
Besides talent, Sapp reported that AEW ring announcer Dasha Fuentes was also among those released by the company.
Sapp also reported that he was not told of any other names who were released nor if there will be any more waves of releases.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that AEW had released ten people on Monday. Those spoken to reportedly also confirmed that this was likely the complete list of talent releases and it is currently not known if there will be more.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that AEW officials are currently evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents. Johnson reported that the current belief is that all of those who were released would be free agents immediately.
