Triple H Comments on Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status Being “Same as It’s Been Before”

WWE held a WrestleMania 40 post-show press conference following Saturday’s WrestleMania 40 Night 1 event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Among the speakers was WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque. One of the topics discussed included Levesque stating that Brock Lesnar’s current status in WWE is the “same as it’s been before.” Levesque also confirmed that WWE did hold talks with Lesnar for a potential return at this past January’s Royal Rumble 2024 event.

“At one point, there was a conversation with Brock about Royal Rumble, quite a long time ago. Right now, Brock is at home being Brock. We’ll see where that leads to from here. His status is the same as it has been before. Brock is not gone from WWE. He’s just home being Brock.”

The Rock Comments on Future of His In-Ring Career

Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 40 post-show press conference also featured Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as one of the speakers.

During his portion of the press conference, Johnson gave his thoughts about the future of his in-ring career and if he still had a few big matches left in him.

“There might be. I can’t elaborate that much on that, but there might be. I love what I do. I love our business. I was born into our business. We’ll see.”

Johnson also gave his thoughts about if fans can expect surprises for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at Sunday’s WrestleMania 40 Night 2 event that will be held under Bloodline Rules.

“You can. Absolutely. Final Boss can’t tell you that. I can’t tell anybody that. I have keep everyone guessing, including Cody Rhodes. That’s important. You can sure expect the unexpected and a lot of surprises.”

WWE Unveils New Bray Wyatt & The Fiend Statues at WWE World Event

Saturday’s WWE World at WrestleMania fan event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania featured WWE officially unveiling two new statues.

These two new statues were of Bray Wyatt and The Fiend in honor of the late Windham Rotunda.

Bray Wyatt joins Andre The Giant, Bruno Sammartino, The Ultimate Warrior, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, and The Undertaker who have receive the special statue honors treatment by WWE.
