AEW CEO Tony Khan announced one new match for the card of Double or Nothing 2024, which takes place on May 26th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This new match announced was an IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Eliminator match of Konosuke Takeshita vs. Jon Moxley (c).

This match was setup following Takeshita confronting Moxley in recent weeks and wanting a shot at his IWGP World title. During this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show, Takeshita attacked Moxley leading to a big brawl breaking out between Blackpool Combat Club and Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, & Jeff Cobb.
