Hikleuo’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling reportedly has expired and he is currently expected to be joining WWE, according to BodySlam.net and Fightful Select.
BodySlam.net’s Cassidy Haynes reported that his sources stated that Sunday’s Dominion 2024 event was Hikuleo’s last scheduled date for NJPW and his contract has expired. Those spoken to reportedly stated that the current expectation is that Hikuleo will be leaving the company and joining WWE.
Haynes reportedly that it is currently not known when Hikuleo would make his official televised debut for WWE. Haynes also reported that the current expectation is that Hikuleo will be included in the on-going The Bloodline storyline in WWE for his debut.
Hikuleo is the younger brother of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa and son of WWE Hall of Famer Haku.
Hikuleo had been working in NJPW since 2016.
