WWE Reportedly Holding NXT No Mercy 2024 This September in Denver

WWE reportedly is currently scheduled to hold their next NXT PLE event this September, according to PWInsider.

Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the next NXT PLE event will be this year’s No Mercy event. Johnson reported that this year’s event will be taking place on September 1st in Denver, Colorado.

Tyler Bate Injury Status Update – Bate Suffered Torn Pec Injury & Underwent Surgery

As noted before, Tyler Bate suffered an undisclosed injury at the July 2nd WWE NXT show at the Performance Center.

Bate provided an update earlier today on Instagram stating that he had suffered a torn left pectoral & tendon injury and had underwent successful surgery on Monday.

“Tore my left pectoral major & tendon off the bone last week at NXT.
Surgery yesterday was successful and all has been put back where it belongs.
I’ll be gone for some time while I recover, try not to miss me too much.
I’m in good spirits and looking forward to seeing you all again soon, lots of love,

Finn Balor Reveals Length of His New Contract with WWE

As noted before, Finn Balor signed a new long-term contract with WWE this past April.

A recent episode of the What’s The Story podcast featured Balor as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Balor revealing that his new contract with WWE is for five years in length.

“Yeah, another extension for five years. I’m super excited. You never know. I remember when I was 20 and I was like, ‘If I make it to 30 I’ll be doing well.’ Then, you’re in your 40s and I’m like, ‘Shit, do they want me to keep doing this? Am I able to keep doing it? How is the body going to feel?’ We sat down, had a couple of conversations and the feelings were mutual. I wanted to stay, they wanted me to stay. We hashed it out and I couldn’t be happier. It was a weird time. It was six months to when my contract was coming up. ‘Shit, is the end of my run? Is it time to move on?’ Ten years is incredible. I lasted for six years in England and I thought, ‘Whatever I do, England is always going to be the biggest chapter of my career.’ Then I went to Japan for eight years. ‘You lasted eight years in Japan. That’s definitely going to be the main chunk of my career.’ Then, I was just going to WWE to see what happens, maybe last two or three years and go back to Ireland or Japan. Now, I’m ten years in with another five years to go, fingers crossed they don’t fire me. It’s a pretty wild journey.”
