Mustafa Ali’s future in TNA Wrestling was rumored to be in doubt following an open letter tweet Ali made on Twitter last week. In the tweet, Ali issued his farewell to TNA’s X-Division following his loss to Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at last week’s TNA Impact! show. This quickly led to online speculation of Ali’s time in TNA was over and he was leaving the company.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that Ali recently finished up his tenure with TNA and will be leaving the company for the time being. It was also reported that TNA officials have left the door open for Ali to make a potential return in the future.
Ali had been working for TNA since this past January and made his official in-ring debut for the company at this past February’s No Surrender 2024 event.
