As noted before, TNA Wrestling recently announced that they have rescheduled their upcoming Impact! television tapings in Spartanburg, South Carolina due to severe weather-related issues caused by Hurricane Helene in the area. These tapings were originally scheduled to take place on September 27-29 at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium and were rescheduled to the new dates of September 29-30 at the same venue.
House of Glory announced on Thursday on Twitter that they have pulled Joe Hendry from this Sunday’s Believe in Glory event in Queens, New York due to issues beyond theirs and Hendry’s control.
In a video posted by HOG, Hendry stated that the reason he will no longer be appearing at the event is due to his contractual obligations with TNA for their newly rescheduled Impact! tapings.
“You may have seen that TNA have had to reschedule their shows and that is a decision that is in the best interest of the safety of the performers, of the staff and the fans. Unfortunately, that means I now won’t be able to make House of Glory on the Sunday.
I’m very sorry to all the fans that I won’t be able to make it. It’s just one of these super unfortunate freak incidents that no one can really do anything about, so I’m very sorry for that I can’t make it this time.
I was so looking forward to it. The fan reaction video that I saw was unbelievable and the fans really remind me of when British Wrestling was just on fire and it was red-hot, and I was just so looking forward to meeting you all and seeing you all…
I know a lot of you have bought tickets and House of Glory have been selling T-shirts and things like that, so I am working with them to see if we can reschedule something so, when you say my name, I can eventually appear…
To everyone else who may be affected by the hurricanes, please stay safe and thank you, everyone, for the support.”
Joe Hendry regrets that due to factors entirely out of his and our control caused by Hurricane Helene, we regret to inform you he will not be appearing at HOG this Sunday, September 29th. To bring our fans the best possible wrestling experience, we will announce his replacement… pic.twitter.com/xJ6AeSLtRg

Besides Hendry, TNA talents Jordynne Grace, Sinner & Saint (Travis Williams & Judas Icarus), and Lei Ying Lee were recently pulled from Prestige Wrestling’s Roseland 9 event this Sunday in Portland, Oregon due to similar issues.
