As noted before, Rebel has been absent from AEW programming since early 2023 due to creative-related reasons. Rebel revealed earlier this month that she has been dealing with pneumonia and other minor health-related issues since her hospitalization this past May.
Rebel provided an update on Twitter stating she had gone under anesthesia for the third time in the past four months and also underwent successful surgery for her health issues this past Wednesday.
Third time going under anesthesia in the past 4 months and I’m grateful surgery went well yesterday. 🙏🏼 I’m on the mend ya’ll 🫶🏼 and I’m excited for it. Can’t wait to get my strength back 💪🏽 pic.twitter.com/fj6dB1NMJf
