Friday’s WWE SmackDown drew 1,770,000 viewers on FOX, down from the previous week’s 2,054,000 viewers. That week’s show was notable for being the final SmackDown show on FOX and also for going head-to-head against AEW’s Collision show.
It drew a 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from the previous week’s 0.53 rating.
That week’s show was the second-least viewed SmackDown show of the FOX era, only behind the December 29, 2023 “Best Of” show.
In regards to notable sports competition, the NFL game of Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles drew 14,200,00 viewers on Peacock.
Last year’s SmackDown on September 8, 2023 drew 2,094,000 viewers and a 0.53 rating. The September 9, 2022 episode drew 2,367,000 viewers.
