Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite drew 329,000 viewers on TBS, down from last week’s 680,000 viewers. This week’s show was notable for AEW being preempted to a Tuesday night timeslot, being the Dynamite Title Tuesday 2024 special, and for going head-to-head with WWE’s NXT show. The second hour of NXT’s show went directly head-to-head with the first hour of AEW’s show.
It drew a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 key demographic, down from last week’s 0.20 rating.
In regards to notable competition, the viewership and ratings for the 2024 MLB Playoffs Game 3 of Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Mets, the 2024 MLB Playoffs Game 3 of Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres, and the NHL Season Opening Night game of Boston Bruins vs. Florida Panthers is currently not known.
This time last year on October 10, 2023, Dynamite drew 609,000 viewers and a 0.26 18-49 rating. The October 12, 2022 episode drew 983,000 viewers and a 0.32 rating.
