As noted before, Maria Kanellis announced this past July that a mass was recently discovered on her adrenal gland and she was scheduled to undergo surgery this month for retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy. Kanellis’ husband Mike Bennett recently provided an update stating that Kanellis’ surgery went well.
Kanellis provided an update earlier today on Twitter confirming that she had underwent surgery and that it was successful. Kanellis also stated that she is currently expected to get her biopsy results in the next 7-10 days to determine exactly what her mass was. Kanellis also stated that she might need to stay an additional night at the hospital due to her currently dealing with nausea and a headache issues following her surgery.
“Hello all, I am still in the hospital. The surgery went well and my bloodwork looks good. We should have the biopsy results in 7-10 days to figure out exactly what the mass was. I like to call the mass Arnold. I may stay overnight one more night because I have nausea and a headache when standing which may be blood pressure related or something else. Everyone at Rush [Copley Medical Center] has been amazing and so kind.”
