This past Tuesday’s NXT show at WWE’s Performance Center was notable for Rhea Ripley making a surprise appearance and later being attacked by Judgement Day’s Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley in the most dangerous place in wrestling, the NXT parking lot.
WWE provided an update on Wednesday stating that Ripley had suffered a fractured orbital bone injury and will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that while WWE announced that Ripley had suffered a storyline injury, Ripley is actually currently dealing with a legitimate injury. No other details were given at the time regarding the exact nature of this legitimate injury.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources confirmed that Ripley is currently dealing with a legitimate injury and provided additional details. Those spoken to reportedly stated that the x-ray images released by WWE are from Ripley’s legitimate injury.
