Sunday’s Chapter 175: Unboxing VII: The Curtain Call event for PROGRESS Wrestling at the Electric Ballroom in London, England featured Lucha Libre AAA talent suffering an injury and causing his match against Kid Lykos II to be called off.

While the cause nor nature of the injury was not given by PROGRESS, those in attendance at the event stated on social media that Vikingo suffered the injury following a Code Red spot resulting in him landing awkwardly. This led to the referee giving the “X” signal for medics to come out to attend to Vikingo and called off the match. Vikingo was stated to have been helped to the back for medical treatment.

This was Vikingo’s third notable injury this year, following a ruptured ligament and torn meniscus injury at an indie event in Mexico this past February and a right knee injury at TNA’s Impact! tapings in Detroit, Michigan this past October.
