New Orleans reportedly is the current front-runner to be the host city for WWE’s WrestleMania 42 event in 2026, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the current word going around locals in Louisiana is that WWE will be holding next year’s WrestleMania event in their state and for New Orleans to be the host city.
Johnson reported that this was something that WWE officials had discussed internally this past December for their potential WrestleMania 42 host city plans.
Johnson also reported that those spoken to stated that Indianapolis, Indiana is “absolutely” on the table to be the potential host city for WrestleMania 43 in 2027. This would be part of WWE’s deal with the city in 2024 to bring WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam events to their Lucas Oil Stadium venue within the next several years.
If chosen, this would be the first WrestleMania event that New Orleans would host since WrestleMania 34 in 2018.
