McKenzie Mitchell Makes TNA Ring Announcer Debut at TNA Genesis 2025

Sunday’s Genesis 2025 event for TNA Wrestling at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas featured former WWE NXT backstage interviewer McKenzie Mitchell making her official ring announcer debut for TNA.


Moose Debuts New TNA X-Division Title Belt Design at TNA Genesis 2025

Sunday’s TNA Genesis 2025 event also featured Moose officially debuting a newly redesigned TNA X-Division Championship belt.


WWE NXT Talents Arianna Grace, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Fraxiom, & Cota Jade Make Surprise Appearances at TNA Genesis 2025

Sunday’s TNA Genesis 2025 event also featured WWE NXT talents Arianna Grace, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom), and Cora Jade making surprise appearances.

During the Countdown to Genesis pre-show, “NXT Liason” Arianna Grace made a surprise appearance and tried to claim the credit for TNA’s new working partnership deal with WWE. Grace then stated that many of her besties from NXT are here tonight and she won’t tell us who because that would ruin the surprise. Graces told everyone to expect to see some familiar faces.

Following Grace’s speech, Adonis made a surprise appearance and came out to the ring to issue an Open Challenge match right now, which was answered by Jake Something who also won the match.

Later in the show, current NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom made a surprise appearance and came out to ringside for the TNA World Tag Team Championship match between The Rascalz and The Hardys.

Following Masha Slamovich’s victory over Rosemary in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match to retain her TNA Knockouts World Championship, Slamovich’s victory celebration was interrupted by Jade’s music playing. Jade then came out to the ring and confronted Slamovich leading to a staredown between the two and Slamovich holding up her title.


Josh Alexander Announces His Departure from TNA at TNA Genesis 2025

Sunday’s TNA Genesis 2025 show also featured Josh Alexander announcing that he has officially quit TNA Wrestling.

Following Mike Santana’s victory over Alexander in an I Quit match, Santana grabbed a microphone and demanded Alexander keep his word and shake his hand if he lost. This led to Santana extending his hand and Alexander reaching out and shook hands. While still holding on Santana’s hand, Alexander asked for the microphone.

Alexander stated that he was a man of his word and he said “I Quit.” Alexander then stated that he will look you eye to eye and admit that you are the new standard of TNA. Alexander then stated “I quit tonight, but I quit TNA, too” and left the ring.

Alexander’s contract with TNA is currently set to expire on February 15th.


The Rascalz vs. Fraxiom for WWE NXT Tag Titles Announced for Jan. 23rd Impact Show

Sunday’s TNA Genesis 2025 event also featured one new match announced for the card of this week’s TNA Impact! show on January 23rd at the Boeing Center At Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.

This upcoming show will be held as a live and not taped show.

This new match announced was a WWE NXT Tag Team Championship match of The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) vs. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) (c).
