Friday’s WWE SmackDown drew 1,436,000 viewers on USA Network, down from the previous week’s 1,528,000 viewers.
It drew a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from the previous week’s 0.45 rating.
In regards to notable sports competition, the 2025 Cotton Bowl College Football Playoffs game of Ohio State vs. Texas drew 19,588,000 viewers on ESPN and 819,000 viewers on ESPN2, the NBA game of Oklahoma City Thunder vs, New York Knicks drew 142,000 viewers on NBA TV, and the College basketball game of UCLA vs. Maryland drew 658,000 viewers on FOX.
Last year’s SmackDown on January 12, 2024 drew 2,384,000 viewers and a 0.64 rating on FOX. The January 13, 2023 episode drew 2,326,000 viewers on FOX.
