As noted before, NJPW English commentator Chris Charlton has been away from New Japan Pro Wrestling since this past January’s NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty event due to him being suspended following a controversial incident over controversial anti-AEW comments he made during the Kenny Omega vs. Gabe Kidd match.
Tuesday’s NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka 2025 event in Osaka, Japan featured NJPW English lead commentator Walker Stewart providing an update on the status of Charlton’s absence from the company.
Prior to the end of the broadcast, Stewart stated that Charlton will be returning to commentary at NJPW’s 53rd Anniversary Event on March 6th in Ota City.
