New Orleans, Louisiana reportedly is currently expected to be the official host city for next year’s WWE WrestleMania 42 event, according to WrestleVotes and Fightful Select.
WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that WWE is currently planning to announce the location for next year’s WrestleMania 42 event prior to this April’s WrestleMania 41 event.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that WWE is also currently believed to announce New Orleans as the official host city and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome as the venue.
Fightful Select reported that their sources also stated that WWE is currently expected to officially announce New Orleans as the host city for next year’s event. It was reported that this was something that had been planed for years by WWE officials and some of WWE’s partners were made aware of the location for next year’s event.
In regards to future WrestleMania events, it was reported that those spoken to stated that WWE currently does not have any expectations for a future event to take place in the United Kingdom or Saudi Arabia until 2028 at the earliest.
This would be the third time that New Orleans would be hosting a WrestleMania event, following WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and WrestleMania 34 in 2018.
