As noted before, Friday’s Hundredth – 8 Year Anniversary event for DEFY Wrestling in Seattle, Washington featured Ricochet making a surprise appearance and getting involved in a brawl with Swerve Strickland.
Besides Ricochet’s surprise appearance, this event was also notable for Ricky Starks defeating KENTA to become the new DEFY World Champion.
The ending to this match featured KENTA hitting a GoToSleep to Starks for a near fall that was followed by Starks hitting a Roshambo for the pinfall victory to become the new champion.
