As noted before, WWE recently announced that Roman Reigns had suffered an undisclosed “injury” at this past Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2025 following Seth Rollins curb stomp to him onto steel steps after both were eliminated from the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Reigns’ “injury” situation likely was just WWE officials way to write him out of storylines for the time being and to explain his absence.
Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials’ current plans for one of the major matches for WrestleMania 41 is a Triple Threat match between Reigns, Rollins, and CM Punk. Those spoken to reportedly stated that this match is currently planned to be the main event for Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 on April 19th in Las Vegas.
